Prerequisite: Minimum of 6 hours in Formal Play Therapy Training

Maximum of 6 participants.
In this small group webinar, catered to the specific needs of the participants, we will be discussing the challenges of providing play therapy including play therapy skills, identifying clinical challenges, creating authentic therapeutic moments, and addressing the nuances of the practice of play therapy. Participants are asked to come prepared with a specific supervision question or challenge.
BY the end of the webinar participants will be able to: 1) Identify challenges in providing play therapy, 2) recognize what is working (and what is not) in clinical play therapy sessions, 3) provide authentic learning opportunities for play therapy supervises, and 4) address the nuances of the practice of play therapy.
This will count as 2 supervision hours toward your NIRE or APT Play Therapy certifications. NIRE Supervisors are required to submit a10 minute video clip from a supervision session to review during the webinar. Please submit the clip at least one week prior to the webinar and secure the appropriate permissions prior to the webinar.
