About Us
Integrative Counseling Services, PLLC was founded on April 1st, 2004 by Dr. Jodi Mullen in Oswego, New York. The practice slowly grew and expanded, constantly taking in new clients for a wide range of services. In the summer of 2010, ICS-Oswego underwent construction to expand into a two-floor operation, opening up space for new offices and playrooms. Currently, there are approximately 25 counselors working at ICS with varying degrees and certifications, including a number of graduate and undergraduate students who are completing their internship hours and gaining experience.
In the summer of 2008, Integrative Counseling Services opened a satellite office in Cicero, New York. The original building was a small space containing two playrooms and a working office. However, with the high demand for counseling services, the office was moved to the Cicero Professional Building in the summer of 2011 to allow for more clients to be seen.

It is our mission and philosophy to respect the individuality of each person and to build upon his/her strengths so that growth and self-discovery are possible. We commit ourselves to servicing individuals in need. We endeavor to find the strengths and abilities of individuals and families that will enable them to develop a healthy mind, body, and spirit in today’s complex and ever-changing world.
The cornerstone of the shared belief system of the professionals at Integrative Counseling Services ties in our desire to provide quality mental health services to the community with integrity and professionalism. It is our belief that people in need of professional counseling services should not be denied that opportunity. Instead, all people — children, adolescents, adults and families — should be able to receive the assistance that is needed to produce positive change. It is our expectation that the positive changes created in life will result in contributing to a healthy and safe environment for our community.
For all potential clients who are without insurance, or eligible insurance (ex: Medicare), Integrative Counseling Services offers a full sliding fee scale to accommodate all individuals in need of counseling services.

Staff List
Our clinicians have Master's degrees in Mental Health Counseling and are licensed or working toward licensure in New York State. They are trained to work with all age groups, and are qualified to work with people in varying circumstances, and with different presenting issues. They also work closely with supervising staff.
Also, nearly all of our counselors are trained to provide counseling services to children, and have or are working toward certification in Child-Centered Play Therapy. We are proud to be one of the most qualified service providers for children in Oswego County!
