"First, I want to thank you for helping my daughter again this summer. I am grateful that she has a relationship with you. She values your guidance so much. She is doing great this semester!! She loves college, living in her sorority house, and is involved in student government. Just found out that she even has a lovely boyfriend! Thanks for everything, Jodi. As a mom, you must know how much it means when someone reaches out to your child. My daughter was definitely hurting, so I thank you again for helping her through such a tough time. I can't even find the words to express how grateful I am to you for having such a positive relationship with her. You have been a gift to my family."
"My son has a wonderful time working with his play therapist. My husband and I can see a difference in his attitude. His sessions are a great outlet for him to work through his pent up anxiety and is a good stress reliever. This has been a great experience for my son and he looks forward to his weekly visits."

"Counseling is fun and amazing because everyone here is nice. I think it's exciting to come to counseling because you get to play and the counselor gets to know your business. On the inside I feel loving and grateful that I get to come here."

"Coming to Integrative Counseling on a weekly basis has been a positive experience for my six year old son. Relieving him of his anger, stress, and worry about his parents' divorce has helped him to be able to be more focused on his other tasks, his behavior has improved, and he has carried over a strategy that he has learned to do while in his session with his play therapist that he can do when he's frustrated or angry while he's not in session with her. I will be forever grateful to her and Integrative Counseling for helping me get my little boy back to his happy self."

"Ashley has been a great help with my grandson. She's a great listener and answers all questions. My grandson is very happy with her. I would recommend Integrative Counseling to anyone who has children. They are there to help the children and try to solve their problems. They listen and don't judge the children. We are very happy with the results that we are getting. These counselors should be praised for the work that they do! My grandson is ADHD and Ashley is wonderful with him."

"My son loves coming to see June every week. He has so much fun playing he has no idea he is helping his self but the best part about Integrative Counseling is that not only have they helped my son with his problem, they have helped me learn to help him. I am very grateful for all they have done for us and I have recommended them to my friends and family already."

"I loved your training and definitely made me think very differently about myself, myself as a child, my relationship with my family, and with children in general."

I always love your seminars because I come away feeling inspired reinvigorated. Everything I learned yesterday has already helped me today with 2 of my adolescents.

Adolescent Play Therapy workshop, 2012
"I was at your workshop on Friday and I found it very interesting. I found the process of creating my own individual sand tray rather cathartic. I have shared very little with anyone about my daughter's car accident which happened several years ago and yet the tray I created was all about the accident. My daughter has a serious brain injury now, and although she has made tremendous progress, she still has many issues that prevent her from being a more engaged and active participant in her world.
After the workshop, I went out & bought sand and many little figurines depicting a range of topics/subjects - some that were pertinent to her before the accident, some that are more pertinent now. I asked her to create anything she wanted and her tray looked almost exactly like the one I created at your workshop. I was stunned! I have never talked to her about the accident and there it was staring at me. She was thinking/feeling the same things I was thinking/feeling!
My daughter has a short term memory problem so it is hard for her to engage in reciprocal conversations but she created several trays and each one she shared about so many things. I have not heard this much language from her since the accident. It was such a gift. She was in a wheel chair for 4 years before she started to walk and didn't talk for 2 years after the accident. It has been a long journey and now I feel like I have another wonderful tool to use.
Thank you so much!"

"[I liked] seeing the miniatures, doing activities and the conversations [we had], all of which I was easily able to relate to and make connections with. I learned a lot of useful techniques/strategies."
